Technopark İzmir South Campus

Planned on a 78,575 m² site located on the southern side of the İzmir–Çeşme highway, adjacent to the İzmir Institute of Technology Campus, the Teknopark İzmir South Campus has been envisioned with a flexible layout—adapting to the site’s topography, the climate and vegetation of the local geography, responding to the client’s spatial and functional requirements in line with the development regulations of the area, while also offering alternative scenarios for future planning.

Across the campus, four types of two-story office buildings (Blocks A–B–C–D) were designed, repeating themselves three times within four planned phases, with minimal intervention to the land levels. Among these, Block A (large) and Block B (small) were conceived with inner courtyards, while Block C (large) and Block D (small) were designed with central enclosed galleries.

In the first phase, a Social Center (1) accompanied by rentable commercial units, along with a building accommodating the Management and Accommodation units (Block E), as well as a building housing the Incubation Center (Block A1), were planned. The public open space framed by this group of buildings was designed to meet the social needs of both the organically connected Teknopark Campus and the İzmir Institute of Technology main campus—through planned pedestrian connections crossing above and beneath the highway.
